Angela went above and beyond my expectations. She is very friendly and you can always feel at ease contacting her. She made sure I was comfortable with our choice of surgeon Dr. Can Karaca and set up a video call for me. Always ready to help and answer any questions (she would always be available despite the 7 hour time difference)! I wasn’t really sure about traveling to Istanbul, Turkey for my procedure until I met Angela and she explained everything from start to finish and stood behind her words to always be of assistance. Mind you I have been researching for months now for a good doctor and went back and forth between waiting 2 years to get my surgery done in Canada or even traveling to Mexico for it! I was thinking Turkey would be a difficult route due to time difference and the distance but I’m very happy I chose to go to Turkey with Flymedi and I’m glad my agent was Angela Sabou! Do not hesitate to work with Flymedi and especially request Angela if you can!!! - a very satisfied client

Adonis Fertility International Caring Professionals

After trying IVF unsuccessfully in the US for many years Maria from Adonis Fertility International gave me hope. I was very impressed by her work ethic and I trusted she would work hard at helping us become parents. Her communication was top-notch. I choose Adonis because of Maria and then worked with Amy, Nancy, and Ivanna and ALL were Amazing. Everything is broken down for you in steps and very organized. There was always someone there to answer a question you may. Its been a very smooth process, with all the legal documents and made transporting the biomaterial stress-free. We are still in our beginning stages and I will give another review at the end but everything so far has been excellent and I would recommend Adonis to any US couple looking to try IVF and hopefully become parents.

Excellent service

Excellent service. I was really hesitant at first, because I’ve never done anything like this before, but Kirstie did a great job of answering all my questions & concerns, in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using this service.

At the beginning, I was very hesitant about having my surgeries, especially the idea of having them in Turkey, which is a country located across the ocean of where I come from, the United States of America. When I initially started my research, I came across Flymedi, and I strongly believe that connecting with them was the best decision I have made in regards of having my desired surgeries. After entering my contact information, I was contacted from Flymedi by an agent named Abud. On one hand, Abud has been a great assist and support to my journey, as he was involved in every step throughout the process. He was very responsive to all my concerns and inquiries before and after the operations. On the other hand, everyone at the clinic that I was referred to (EstEthica) was very nice and welcoming. The in-person consultant on site (Lamia) was extremely helpful and kind. She, along with the whole clinic staff, made me feel so comfortable and made the whole trip seem as smooth as possible, despite the discomfort after the surgeries. In terms of the results, I can not speak of this just yet as it has only been a week since I have had my operations. However, I will definitely come back within a couple of months to update my review and speak about the results and any other additional notes along the way. In a nutshell, all I can say that I am grateful for everything so far, and I truly appreciate everyone that was involved in this process! P.S. as a word of advice, if you are having a hair transplant operation, I highly recommend having it at least 3 - 4 days before your departure flight back home, as the post operation instructions are a bit intense and not being in a rush would significantly help with the recovery process.

Recommended For Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is mostly performed as a result of the gallstones. Although gallstones usually cause no problem sometimes, they may cause pain and irritation and cholecystitis, which is a condition of an infected gallbladder. Gallbladder removal surgery is recommended for patients who are suffering from pain caused by the gallstones. Even though there are other options for the treatment of gallstones, laparoscopic cholecystectomy remains to be the best one.

Not Recommended For Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Not all of the patients who have gallstones experience repetitive, strong pain. Therefore, sometimes, patients do not realize their gallstones. Also, occasionally, gallbladder removal is not needed to get rid of the gallstones. However, most of the time, cholecystectomy is performed for the cholecystitis.

Overview

Laparoscopic cholecystectomyis a type of cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder) operation which is performed with the medical tool called laparoscopy. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is often performed for the treatment of cholecystitis or inflammation of the gallbladder. Gallbladder storages and collects the liquid called bile, which produced in the liver. Just like the appendix, the gallbladder can be removed from the body without the experience of any serious side effects.

Preparation

Before the laparoscopic cholecystectomy, it is important to talk to your doctor about the medical conditions you have and medicines you are taking. Your doctor may want you to stop taking some of the medicines. Also, some surgeons suggest a diet to follow before the operation. In addition, you should not eat anything for a couple of hours before the surgery. In this way, the risk of laparoscopic cholecystectomy complications will be kept lower.

How It Is Performed

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is becoming to be the most popular way of performing cholecystectomy. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is shown to be an effective way with fewer risks for the management of cholecystitis. During the laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery, surgeons make several small cuts rather than a single big one like made in the open surgery. Through one of the cuts, laparoscope is inserted so as to see the incision site. Different medical tools are inserted through the other incisions to perform the surgery.

Recovery

Recovery from the laparoscopic cholecystectomy takes several weeks. It usually takes about 2 weeks to go back to work after the surgery. After the gallbladder surgery, there might be some pain experienced, but it can be eased by the painkillers. Also, surgeons may give you antibiotics for your recovery period.

Scars After Surgery

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy scars should fade with time and be hard to spot since laparoscopic cholecystectomy incisions are small, unlike in open gallbladder removal surgery.

Risks

Even though there are few complications regarding the laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery, patients should be informed about them. Complications of the laparoscopic cholecystectomy include infection, damage to the bile duct, and bile spilling into the abdomen. However, these complications are not very common since the use of laparoscopy causes smaller incisions.

Success Rates

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a very effective way of performing gallbladder removal with a success rate of 95%.More than that, 90% of patients undergoing removal of gallbladder leave for home within 24 hours after gallbladder removal.

Before And After

Diet after Gallbladder Removal

To initial gallbladder removal side effects may belong problem with proper digesting the food due to the lack of stocked bile. Though surgeons do not suggest any specific diet to follow after the operation. Side effects of the surgery would pass in a short period of time.Instead, it is advised to keep a balanced, healthy diet after gallbladder removal, without any specific conditions.
