(Chin and neck liposuction) great experience with Abud

I found flymedi while I was looking for a doctor in Istanbul to do a chin and neck liposuction. Abud from Flymedi contacted me and he was great from the beginning until even after I went back home, he took care of everything and was always available, definitely the right person for this experience! My doctor (Dr Ozge Ergun) was also great, I'm very satisfied and I can only recommend Flymedi, the best place to find your treatment!

5* service

From start to finish my experience with Flymedi was exceptional. The coordinator, Abud worked hard at finding the right surgeon for me. He was constantly in contact while I was away to ensure everything went smoothly. I honestly could not be happier with the company. Dr Ozge has done an exceptional job too. Thank you Abud for making me feel confident again!

Great Service

After a long research for hair transplant, I came across Flymedi. I had several reasons to get this service from them such as getting rid of the bureaucratic process, handling accommodation issues, personal assistant, etc. I felt comfortable once it is done by Flymedi as full of customer-oriented style, I was just worried about the surgery which went well too! Thank you Flymedi team. Make sure that I will be letting people know your passion for helping patients who admit to have surgery done in Poland.

Recommended For Emax Crowns

Emax dental crowns are produced from lithium disilicate, using new technologies such as computer-aided design and computer-assisted manufacture. These crowns have a major advantage in the sense that they do not have a layer of metal underneath the crown itself – other dental crowns materials such as zirconia have a metal layer underneath, which can be visible, especially when used on the front teeth for example. With the way they are built, Emax crowns are guaranteed to look the same, without any darker spots at the root of the tooth. These crowns are often regarded as one of the most durable and reliable types of crowns available for patients.

Overview

Many patients may find themselves thinking, "What are Emax crowns?”. Emax Crowns are a type of dental crowns which lately gained immense popularity due to the fact that they are very durable and very aesthetically pleasing. These dental crowns can be used in a wide array of situations, including for single dental implants, dental bridges as well as for restoring damaged or broken teeth. There is an ongoing discussion regarding the advantages and disadvantages of Emax crowns compared to other traditional products such as zirconia crowns for dental bridges and implants. Dentists specialized in dental crowns found no major differences between Emax crowns vs. zirconium crowns, in terms of durability and survival rate – the only difference being that Emax crowns tend to be more aesthetically pleasing than zirconia crowns.

How It Is Performed

Emax dental crown may be used as a cover for broken or damaged teeth. An orthodontist takes a mold of the teeth and places a temporary dental crown in order to protect it until the permanent Emax crown is prepared. Then, a patient needs to wait up to 2-3 weeks and come for another visit, during which an Emax dental crown is installed.
If Emax crown is used for dental implants, orthodontic specialists usually start from removing the damaged teeth, which could not be saved by root canal treatment or other dental treatment. After that, a dental implant is installed in its place, together with a temporary dental crown. Later on, orthodontist prepares a final Emax crown. Then, when the dental crown is ready, the doctor performs the dental crown procedure by simply removing the temporary dental crown and replacing it with Emax dental crown.

Recovery

Doctors usually prefer to use local anesthesia during the dental crown procedure. You may feel its effect for 1-2 hours after getting your Emax crown. Additionally, in the first days of your experience with Emax dental crowns, your tooth may be a little sensitive but do not worry, it is a perfectly normal experience.

Risks

Emax crowns risks and complications are rare but can include:

  • Infection in the treated tooth – it can happen if the Emax crown is not sealed properly or if all of the decayed parts of the tooth is not removed before placing the crown
  • Allergic reaction – patients can have allergic reactions to the materials or dental cement used
  • Increase in sensitivity – some patients may experience an increase in sensitivity of the treated tooth – special types of toothpaste can be used to decrease sensitivity
  • Nerve damage – the tooth’s nerve can be damaged during the preparation phase of the procedure – in this situation a root canal treatment may be needed, along with the removal of the tooth’s nerve

It’s important to note that under 2% of patients experience complications after opting for Emax crowns or other types of dental crowns.

Side Effects

Temporary numbness and sensitivity are counted as the major side effects of Emax crown as well as other types of dental crown procedure.

Success Rates

The average Emax crowns survival rate is around 97.4%, 5 years after the procedure.

Why Should I Choose Emax Crowns?
Emax crowns are thought to be one of the most realistic and durable crowns for teeth available. For this reason, many people choose them over other dental crowns such as zirconia crowns of pure porcelain crowns.

Do Emax Dental Crowns Have Two Layers?
No, unlike other types of dental crowns, Emax crowns have only one layer, made from lithium disilicate, which guarantees that no darker spots will appear on them as the time goes.

Is Dental Crown Procedure Long? No, it is not. Usually, it is performed in two sessions. In the first one, your orthodontist will prepare the teeth or make a dental implant and plant over them a temporary dental crown. Then, after a few weeks, you will be called to appear in the office and get your final dental crown.

How Long do Emax Crowns Last?

Over 90% of crowns last for more than 9 years. Dental crowns, in general, can last a lifetime, if properly cared for.
