Best hospital I’ve been to
I attended Kardiolita hospital in February for a gastric sleeve bariatric surgery. From the moment I entered the hospital, I knew this was the best choice I could have made. It was extremely clean, I had a dedicated lovely lady who brought me around the different areas for serrated tests the day before hand. She gave me her number to text if I had any questions afterwards. The next day I came back for my surgery. I had a huge private room to myself. I met with my surgeon, who was lovely. He explained my options between two different types of bariatric surgeries. He explained pros and cons of both and let me decide. Surgery went without any complications. The nurses were fantastic. They would change my dressings and give me pain medication when needed. They made me feel looked after and cared for. The surgeon came back a few time’s to check on progress and then I was allowed leave after 2 nights in the hospital. I felt great after the surgery. I was able to change my dressings and adjust to the eating regime I was given by the dietician. Afterwards, I required a lot of paper work for insurance purposes etc. I have to commend the staff who have been helping me gather the huge amount of paperwork requested. They helped me every time with the back and forth requirements for further paper work. I would HIGHLY recommend Kardiolita hospital. It’s better than any hospital I have been to in Ireland.
