Prof. Ahmet Cem Dural

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cem Dural is a general and endocrine surgeon at Liv Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, specialising in thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgery. He graduated from Istanbul University's Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, completed his general surgery residency at Istanbul University, and undertook endocrine surgery fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic and Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden, followed by a research fellowship at the University of Ottawa in Canada. Earlier in his career he worked at Iğdır State Hospital and Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital. He serves as Secretary General and a board member of the Endocrine Surgery Association and belongs to the European Society of Endocrine Surgery, the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Surgeons, and treats patients in English and Turkish.
