How Does it Work?

A belly button surgery or umbilicoplasty is a procedure that changes the appearance of your belly button. It was originally used to treat umbilical hernias in babies. In recent years, it has become a very popular cosmetic surgery. The goal of belly button surgery is to give the navel a more vertical than horizontal shape. Belly button surgery allows your belly button to regain the shape it had before you got pregnant. However, the procedure will not change the appearance of any other part of the abdominal area.
