4.    After removing the required amount of fat homogeneously through the inserted cannula, the surgeon shapes the remaining skin and contours the neck and chin. Finally, tiny incisions are closed with dissolvable stitches.

5.    The best results are obtained in patients who have thick skin, without excess skin and who have the anatomy of the neck at right angles to the mandible. Too much skin can cause irregularities; a neck lift can complete the liposuction procedure (at the same time or secondarily).

Things You Should Consider After Neck Liposuction Treatment

• The swelling and bruising disappear 15 days after the neck liposuction procedure.
• A post-operative chin strap has to be worn for 1 month.
• The first results are observable as soon as the dressings are removed, but you have to wait for 2 to 3 months for a final result.
• Cardiovascular activities will be allowed after 3 weeks, sports after 4 weeks and contact sports after 6 weeks.

Is Neck Liposuction Procedure Painful?

Will I Have Scars After the Neck Liposuction?
