Prof. Semra Kahraman is a pioneering figure in reproductive medicine and genetics in Turkey. She is internationally recognised for her groundbreaking contributions to assisted reproductive technologies, particularly Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) and Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT). In the 1990s, she was among the first to achieve successful ICSI pregnancies in Turkey and was leading in introducing PGT. With decades of experience, she provides comprehensive fertility care to patients worldwide, combining clinical excellence with scientific innovation.

Prof. Kahraman is widely respected for her academic achievements and leadership in reproductive genetics. Her research ranges from embryonic stem cell studies to advanced IVF techniques. She has established 11 internationally recognized human embryonic stem cell lines and published extensively in top-tier journals. As a founding board member and past president of the Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis International Society (PGDIS), she has significantly influenced the global landscape of genetic screening in reproductive medicine.
