What you pay, and when
Every offer breaks the total into the same three parts, so you can compare clinics on the same basis.
- Step 1
Deposit
Paid to Flymedi to hold your surgery date and lock the quoted price. It is deducted from the clinic's total, not added to it.
Refundable in full for 24 hours after you pay. Your treatment plan and itinerary arrive as soon as it is paid.
- Step 2
Balance to the clinic
Paid directly to the clinic on arrival, before treatment, by card or bank transfer. The amount is the offer total minus your deposit, and it is non-refundable.
- Step 3
Anything not in the package
Flights, extra hotel nights, upgrades and optional add-ons. These are listed separately in your offer so nothing appears as a surprise at the desk.
Flights are almost never part of a package.
Paying in instalments
Availability depends on your country of residence, the clinic and the total amount. The options that apply to your offer appear at checkout, with the total cost of credit shown before you agree to anything.

Financing is available for employed individuals. If you are not eligible, a family member or friend may apply on your behalf. Once approved, you can schedule your appointment immediately, ensuring no delays in your treatment journey.
Alternative Payment Option: International Credit Cards
We also accept international credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).

- Additional Fee: A 10% processing fee applies.

Currency: offers are displayed in euros by default. The clinic charges in its local currency, so the exact amount that leaves your account depends on your bank's rate on the day. Your coordinator can give you the clinic's own figure in writing before you travel.
What is protected, and what is not
Covered
- Your deposit, refundable in full for 24 hours after you pay
- The quoted price, held for the validity period printed on your offer
- The written revision policy of the clinic you book
- Your right to have your data deleted at any point
Not covered by Flymedi
- Flights, and any airline change or cancellation fees
- Anything you buy directly from the clinic that was not in the offer
- Costs arising after you decline the clinic's aftercare instructions
- Third-party credit agreements, which sit between you and the lender
Travel insurance that explicitly covers planned treatment abroad is strongly recommended and is not included in any package.
