The laparoscopic method or Laparoscopic treatment:
The laparoscopic method or Laparoscopic treatment is a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia with a tool named a laparoscope and a special camera that allows the surgeon to visualize the hernia and surrounding tissue on a video screen. The surgeon will perform the operation with the help of cannulas inserted through three tiny incisions. A small piece of surgical mesh will be placed to reinforce the abdominal wall over the hole produced by hernia. When structures are placed in their proper locations, your surgeon will cover the opening with sutures, staples, or adhesive glue. This is a less invasive procedure, and it has a shorter recovery period than open surgery, although the risk of hernia recurrence may be greater with laparoscopic repair.

For inguinal hernia repair surgery, the doctor will perform a deeper incision by suturing the hole in the stomach and tightening the abdominal muscles. Open hernia repair can be done under general, spinal, or local anesthesia, while Laparoscopic repair requires general anesthesia. This type of procedure requires a longer recovery time and involves the risk of not being able to move normally for a period of up to six weeks.
