Acıbadem Healthcare Group healthcare group established its first-ever hospital in 1991 in Istanbul, Turkey. Today, Acıbadem Healthcare Group provides healthcare services with its 22 hospitals, 15 outpatient clinics, and nearly 22.500 employees including 3.500 doctors and 4.000 nurses. It provides diagnosis and treatment services at healthcare standards certified with JCI accreditation. In every field of medicine, Acıbadem Healthcare Group provides a “360-degree” service. 

In 2016, Acıbadem Healthcare Group enlarged its territory by acquiring the Tokuda Group and the City Clinic Group, both of which are leading Bulgarian healthcare providers. An investment of 125 million Euros enabled Acıbadem to expand its operations by 4 hospitals and 5 outpatient clinics thus making it the largest private healthcare provider in Bulgaria. Acıbadem currently operates 22 hospitals and 15 clinics in 4 countries.
