Prof. Güven Güvenç

Prof. Dr. Güven Güvenç completed his medical degree at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, and his ENT residency at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He became an ENT specialist in 2004 and trained in otologic surgery at Institut Portmann in Bordeaux, France. In 2010, he earned the European Board Certification in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and the title of Fellow of the European Board, and completed an observership and fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary in Boston.

Prof. Dr. Güven Güvenç is a board-certified otorhinolaryngologist (ENT specialist) and professor. He joined Istanbul Bilim University as Assistant Professor in 2006, was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2010, headed the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Istanbul Bilim University from 2012 to 2013, joined Acıbadem Healthcare Group in 2013, was promoted to Professor in 2015, and has practiced independently since September 2021.

Prof. Dr. Güven Güvenç has authored 43 scientific articles (25 in international peer-reviewed journals and 18 in national journals), contributed to 5 book chapters and translated 9 others, and presented 31 papers at national and international congresses. His work has received over 180 citations. He has served as assistant editor of the Turkish Archives of Otolaryngology and as a reviewer for The Laryngoscope. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, the Turkish Foundation of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, the Facial Plastic Surgery Association, the Istanbul Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Specialists, Institut Portmann and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
