Dr. Ergin Er

Dr. Ergin Er graduated from GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy) Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and completed his specialization in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at GATA in 2001. He later completed a research fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas (2003 to 2004), trained in facial aesthetic surgery at the Manhattan OHN Center in New York (2002) and in tumescent liposuction in San Juan Capistrano, California (2004).

Dr. Ergin Er is a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery specialist with 30 years of experience. He served as Chief of the Plastic Surgery and Burn Center at GATA (2001 to 2002) and later practiced at Transmed Aesthetic and Hair Surgery Clinic, Memorial Hospital Istanbul and Anatomica Hospital Istanbul. His areas of interest include rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, facelift, eyelid surgery, large-volume liposuction, Brazilian butt lift (BBL) and hair transplantation.

Dr. Ergin Er is a member of the European Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ESHRS) and holds ISHRS certification. In 2004, he received a research grant from the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery for work on graft preservation solution. His research has also received awards from the Turkish Surgical Association, Hacettepe University and the Turkish Plastic Surgery Association, along with GATA Scientific Research Support Grants for studies in cranial bone gene therapy and bone transplantation.
