About Prof. Güven Güvenç
Prof. Dr. Güven was born in Istanbul, Türkiye, on March 10, 1975. He graduated with honors from Galatasaray High School and earned his medical degree from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialization in Otorhinolaryngology at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. After gaining experience at Institut Portmann in Bordeaux, France, he became an ENT specialist in 2004. He joined Istanbul Bilim University in 2006, where he became Associate Professor in 2010 and Head of the Department in 2012. The same year, he earned the European Board Certification in Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgeryand the title of Fellow of the European Board (FEBORL-HNS). Following a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, he joined the Acıbadem Health Group in 2013 and was promoted to Professor in 2015. Since September 2021, he has been practicing at his private clinic in Istanbul. Prof. Dr. Güvenç has published over 40 scientific papers, contributed to book chapters, and delivered numerous lectures and courses in aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty and otologic surgery. He serves as a reviewer for The Laryngoscope and is a member of several national and international medical societies.
