About Assoc. Prof. Muhammed Zübeyr Üçüncü
Education and training Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Zübeyr Üçüncü earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine (2002 to 2008) and completed his general surgery residency at the same institution (2008 to 2013). He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in General Surgery in 2022. Professional experience Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Zübeyr Üçüncü worked as a general surgery specialist at Arnavutköy State Hospital (2014 to 2016), Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital's Breast Health Center (2017 to 2019) and Derindere Hospital (2019 to 2021), and has since practiced at Istanbul Cerrahi Hospital and Central Hospital Etiler in Beşiktaş. He has been on the academic faculty of Istanbul Gelişim University since 2015 and has taken part in international bariatric surgery education, including the IFSO-EC webinar series and the VII Live Surgery Workshop on laparoscopic bariatric surgery in Rome.
