Op. Dr. Hakkı İzmirli

Op. Dr. Hakkı İzmirli grew up in Istanbul and studied medicine at Istanbul University. He completed his residency in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine and then carried out his compulsory service at Derince Training and Research Hospital.

During his residency at Kocaeli he co-authored a series of papers on breast and body contouring, among them abdominal fascial flaps for full implant coverage in one-stage breast reconstruction (Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, 2009), a technique to increase breast projection in free-nipple-graft breast reduction (Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, 2008) and a bendable-wire tool for planning abdominoplasty (Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, 2009). At Derince he was first author of a study on adipose-derived stem cells to speed up healing in interpolation flaps, published in the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery in 2016.

Before settling into his current practice in Istanbul he worked at a private clinic in Sakarya, a private hospital in Levent and an aesthetic clinic in Fulya. His areas of interest include liposuction, breast procedures, buttock procedures including BBL and butt implants, 6-pack surgery, body procedures, face and neck procedures, eyelid procedures and non-surgical treatments.

He is an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
