Angela went above and beyond my expectations. She is very friendly and you can always feel at ease contacting her. She made sure I was comfortable with our choice of surgeon Dr. Can Karaca and set up a video call for me. Always ready to help and answer any questions (she would always be available despite the 7 hour time difference)! I wasn’t really sure about traveling to Istanbul, Turkey for my procedure until I met Angela and she explained everything from start to finish and stood behind her words to always be of assistance. Mind you I have been researching for months now for a good doctor and went back and forth between waiting 2 years to get my surgery done in Canada or even traveling to Mexico for it! I was thinking Turkey would be a difficult route due to time difference and the distance but I’m very happy I chose to go to Turkey with Flymedi and I’m glad my agent was Angela Sabou! Do not hesitate to work with Flymedi and especially request Angela if you can!!! - a very satisfied client

Adonis Fertility International Caring Professionals

After trying IVF unsuccessfully in the US for many years Maria from Adonis Fertility International gave me hope. I was very impressed by her work ethic and I trusted she would work hard at helping us become parents. Her communication was top-notch. I choose Adonis because of Maria and then worked with Amy, Nancy, and Ivanna and ALL were Amazing. Everything is broken down for you in steps and very organized. There was always someone there to answer a question you may. Its been a very smooth process, with all the legal documents and made transporting the biomaterial stress-free. We are still in our beginning stages and I will give another review at the end but everything so far has been excellent and I would recommend Adonis to any US couple looking to try IVF and hopefully become parents.

Excellent service

Excellent service. I was really hesitant at first, because I’ve never done anything like this before, but Kirstie did a great job of answering all my questions & concerns, in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using this service.

At the beginning, I was very hesitant about having my surgeries, especially the idea of having them in Turkey, which is a country located across the ocean of where I come from, the United States of America. When I initially started my research, I came across Flymedi, and I strongly believe that connecting with them was the best decision I have made in regards of having my desired surgeries. After entering my contact information, I was contacted from Flymedi by an agent named Abud. On one hand, Abud has been a great assist and support to my journey, as he was involved in every step throughout the process. He was very responsive to all my concerns and inquiries before and after the operations. On the other hand, everyone at the clinic that I was referred to (EstEthica) was very nice and welcoming. The in-person consultant on site (Lamia) was extremely helpful and kind. She, along with the whole clinic staff, made me feel so comfortable and made the whole trip seem as smooth as possible, despite the discomfort after the surgeries. In terms of the results, I can not speak of this just yet as it has only been a week since I have had my operations. However, I will definitely come back within a couple of months to update my review and speak about the results and any other additional notes along the way. In a nutshell, all I can say that I am grateful for everything so far, and I truly appreciate everyone that was involved in this process! P.S. as a word of advice, if you are having a hair transplant operation, I highly recommend having it at least 3 - 4 days before your departure flight back home, as the post operation instructions are a bit intense and not being in a rush would significantly help with the recovery process.

Overview

Strabismus, more commonly known as cross-eyed or wall-eyed, is a visual disturbance that a person cannot normally align both eyes at the same time. One or both eyes may turn in, out, up or down. Strabismus treatment or strabismus surgery is a type of procedure used to treat this condition, which can cause sight problems as well as self-consciousness for the patient. Strabismus may be congenital and persistent, and some patients may experience strabismus only in stressful situations or disease periods.

Strabismus has several causes and different causes mean different types of treatment for the patients:

● Congenital strabismus – the patient is simply born with eyes which do not align properly. When the infants’ eye develops strabismus, the brain stops paying attention to the visual information from the eye. This can cause severe visual problems; hence, it should be treated at early ages.

● Nervous system issues – the muscles of the eyes are controlled by the nervous system, and in some cases, it may work too little or too much, resulting in misalignment
● Other disorders or tumors – Strabismus can be the sign of serious neurologic disease, including a brain tumor or other tumors which can also influence or restrict the eye’s muscles.

If an adult suddenly gets strabismus, it will lead to double vision, headaches, and eyestrain. Sudden strabismus can also be a sign of a stroke. It is the best option to visit a doctor as soon as possible in all those cases resulting in strabismus.

Preparation

A thorough eye examination is necessary before the strabismus surgery, or strabismus treatment is set to begin. Patients should provide the eye doctor with any information relating to their medical condition, including diagnosis, previous surgical procedures, preoperative measures, and medications they use. The doctor will perform his own tests and then formulate a surgical plan to treat the condition.

How It Is Performed

Strabismus surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia. The eye surgeon considers several factors before starting and proceeding with the surgery, including the patient's age, the location of the damaged muscles, and the angle of strabismus. Several muscles affected by strabismus may be operated on during one procedure. Strabismus surgery can be broken down into two main types of procedures: reducing surgery or intensifying surgery. This means that the muscles controlling the eye are strengthened or weakened to achieve the desired result. Strabismus surgery takes only a few hours, and patients usually leave the hospital on the same day.y.

Recovery

Although the recovery time depends on the scope of the procedure, most patients are able to return to their normal activities within a day or two of treatment. Patients can expect some of the side effects during the recovery period, such as redness, soreness, or discomfort. These postoperative symptoms disappear completely in a few weeks to a few months. Generally, patients can see their final results within a month or two of surgery.

Risks

Risks and complications associated with strabismus surgery include one or more of the following:

● Strabismus revision surgery
