Angela went above and beyond my expectations. She is very friendly and you can always feel at ease contacting her. She made sure I was comfortable with our choice of surgeon Dr. Can Karaca and set up a video call for me. Always ready to help and answer any questions (she would always be available despite the 7 hour time difference)! I wasn’t really sure about traveling to Istanbul, Turkey for my procedure until I met Angela and she explained everything from start to finish and stood behind her words to always be of assistance. Mind you I have been researching for months now for a good doctor and went back and forth between waiting 2 years to get my surgery done in Canada or even traveling to Mexico for it! I was thinking Turkey would be a difficult route due to time difference and the distance but I’m very happy I chose to go to Turkey with Flymedi and I’m glad my agent was Angela Sabou! Do not hesitate to work with Flymedi and especially request Angela if you can!!! - a very satisfied client

Adonis Fertility International Caring Professionals

After trying IVF unsuccessfully in the US for many years Maria from Adonis Fertility International gave me hope. I was very impressed by her work ethic and I trusted she would work hard at helping us become parents. Her communication was top-notch. I choose Adonis because of Maria and then worked with Amy, Nancy, and Ivanna and ALL were Amazing. Everything is broken down for you in steps and very organized. There was always someone there to answer a question you may. Its been a very smooth process, with all the legal documents and made transporting the biomaterial stress-free. We are still in our beginning stages and I will give another review at the end but everything so far has been excellent and I would recommend Adonis to any US couple looking to try IVF and hopefully become parents.

Excellent service

Excellent service. I was really hesitant at first, because I’ve never done anything like this before, but Kirstie did a great job of answering all my questions & concerns, in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using this service.

At the beginning, I was very hesitant about having my surgeries, especially the idea of having them in Turkey, which is a country located across the ocean of where I come from, the United States of America. When I initially started my research, I came across Flymedi, and I strongly believe that connecting with them was the best decision I have made in regards of having my desired surgeries. After entering my contact information, I was contacted from Flymedi by an agent named Abud. On one hand, Abud has been a great assist and support to my journey, as he was involved in every step throughout the process. He was very responsive to all my concerns and inquiries before and after the operations. On the other hand, everyone at the clinic that I was referred to (EstEthica) was very nice and welcoming. The in-person consultant on site (Lamia) was extremely helpful and kind. She, along with the whole clinic staff, made me feel so comfortable and made the whole trip seem as smooth as possible, despite the discomfort after the surgeries. In terms of the results, I can not speak of this just yet as it has only been a week since I have had my operations. However, I will definitely come back within a couple of months to update my review and speak about the results and any other additional notes along the way. In a nutshell, all I can say that I am grateful for everything so far, and I truly appreciate everyone that was involved in this process! P.S. as a word of advice, if you are having a hair transplant operation, I highly recommend having it at least 3 - 4 days before your departure flight back home, as the post operation instructions are a bit intense and not being in a rush would significantly help with the recovery process.

Recommended For Teeth Whitening

Dental bleaching is recommended for any individual suffering from one or more of the following:
● Generalized teeth staining

● Teeth discoloration caused by age
● Tetracycline staining
● Mild fluorosis
● Teeth staining caused by tobacco use

Not Recommended For Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is not recommended for patients suffering from gingivitis or patients with susceptible gums. Patients with large cavities or who need extensive dental work should first perform these procedures before opting for dental bleaching.

Alcohol users and very heavy smokes should generally avoid the procedure since the hydrogen peroxide can hurt the tooth's enamel when combined with heavy smoking and alcohol use.

In some cases, patients who opted for different dental procedures such as bridges, veneers or crowns may have to replace them once the dental bleaching procedure is over – this is in order to ensure that all teeth have the same look and translucency.

Duration Of Operation

30 to 60 minutes

Overview

Teeth whitening, also known as dental bleachingor tooth whiteningis a very common cosmetic dentistry procedure. There is a small difference between whitening and bleaching – bleaching is used to whiten teeth beyond their natural color while whitening restores the natural color of the teeth. In 2010, more than 100 million teeth whitening procedures were performed in the USA alone, making it one of the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedures in the world.

Dental bleaching can be applied through different techniques:
● Teeth whitening laser
● Teeth whitening gel
● Bleaching pen
● Teeth whitening strips

Dental bleaching uses hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide to whiten or bleach the teeth. This special solution infiltrates the teeth’s enamel and breaks away any stains.

What causes teeth stains?
Teeth can become stained due to bacterial pigments, color drinks such as wine, tea, coffee, and coca cola. Other teeth stain causes include:
● Genetic factors
● Tetracycline-based antibacterial drugs
● Enamel hypoplasia
● Fluorosis
● Tobacco
● Poor oral hygiene
● The natural aging process
● Chlorhexidine – this substance is often used in toothpaste and mouthwash

Preparation

Patients need to stop smoking before the teeth whitening procedure and then quit altogether

How It Is Performed

A teeth whitening procedure is a simple cosmetic dentistry treatment which can refurbish discolored teeth. The procedure is safe and straightforward, which minimal risks involved.
The teeth whitening dentist will first apply a unique solution on the patient's gums – this is a chemical barrier that will protect the gums during the teeth whitening procedure.
The teeth whitening dentist will then proceed to apply the whitening solution on to the teeth – this is a bleach-based solution, specifically designed for dental work and dental restoration.

Once the solution is applied, the teeth whitening dentist will use a combination of light and heat to activate it, effectively removing any stains from the teeth’s enamel. Once this part of the procedure is finished, the area is cleaned and repeated two more times. When the desired result is achieved, the teeth whitening dentist will remove the barrier applied on the gums and the patient may return home.

Teeth that previously underwent root canal treatment may have the teeth whitening solution injected deep into the roots for a better result.

Recovery

The teeth whitening procedure does not require any recovery period. Patients may fly, drive, and resume normal activities immediately.y.

Risks

Teeth whitening complications can include one or more of the following:

● Chemical burns from the whitening solution
● Increased teeth sensitivity to hot or cold stimuli
● Overbleaching
● Pain
● Bleachorexia – the patient, can become obsessed with whitening

Complications following a teeth whitening procedure are rare and your teeth whitening dentist will provide you with instructions to help you avoid any complications after the treatment

Side Effects

Teeth whitening side effects can include one or more of the following:

● Tooth sensitivity
● Pain

Success Rates

Teeth whitening reviews set the average dental bleaching success rate at around 74%.

Before And After

Most individuals report feeling more confident and more comfortable in social settings after the procedure is done. It’s important to note that teeth whitening or dental bleaching does not offer permanent results. Patients will be required to avoid certain drinks or types of food after the treatment in order to maintain the results. Some individuals generally opt for another teeth whitening procedure in around ten to twelve months after the first one.

Patients who consume plenty of staining foods such as sodas or coffee may require another procedure in just a couple of months. One of the biggest factors when it comes to staining teeth is smoking, as the tar found in cigarettes will stick to the tooth's enamel. It is this tar that darkens the teeth – brushing will not remove it either. As such, patients will have to alter their lifestyles in order to maintain their new smile for longer periods of time.

Faq

Is dental bleaching painful?
Not – patients don't feel a thing.

Is teeth whitening safe?
Teeth whitening does not affect the health of the patient’s teeth in any way. The procedure itself is very popular among patients as well as dentists.

Can dental bleaching damage fillings, crowns or bridges?
No, but they may need replacing for a more consistent look.

Do teeth whitening strips work?

Teeth whitening strips may work to some degree – it all depends on the type of staining the tooth has and its depth. That being said, teeth whitening strips do not offer the same results as a procedure performed by a professional dentist.

Extra Content

Laser Teeth Whitening

Laser Teeth Whitening, also known as light accelerated bleaching uses different types of light energy such as plasma arc, LED or halogen in order to accelerate the bleaching process. While the addition of different energy sources makes the procedure faster, it does not improve the overall results by a great deal.

Naoparticle Catalysts combined with hydrogen peroxide

While it is a relatively new technique, titanium oxide-based catalysts can be used with a solution with lower levels of hydrogen peroxide. This technique is mostly applied for patients with very sensitive teeth since it has the advantage of lowering overall side effects while maintaining great overall results.

Internal Bleaching

Teeth which had their nerves removed through a root canal treatment tend to get darker and darker as time passes. Internal bleaching can be applied to these teeth in order to maintain them the same color or shade as the patient's other teeth. This type of teeth whitening is performed by introducing the bleaching solution inside the teeth itself and regularly replacing it until the perfect color is achieved.
