About Dr. Jale Özdemir

Dr. Jale Özdemir studied medicine at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine from 1996 to 2003 and completed her specialist training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in the same faculty's department in 2013.

During her residency at Kocaeli she co-authored three papers on perforator flaps: on the distal ulnar artery perforator flap in hand trauma (Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, 2011), on gluteal artery perforator flaps for hidradenitis suppurativa (Microsurgery, 2011) and on gluteal and posterior thigh perforators for ischial pressure sores (Annals of Plastic Surgery, 2012).

After specialization she worked at Tunceli State Hospital from 2013 to 2015 and at Yeni Yüzyıl University Gaziosmanpaşa Hospital from 2015 to 2017. She received the board certificate of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2016 and has trained in body contouring after massive weight loss and in functional dermatology.

She practices in Istanbul. Her work covers body contouring after weight loss surgery, liposuction, J-Plasma skin tightening, abdominal etching, breast, buttock and body procedures, deep plane facelift and eyelid surgery. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association and the Turkish Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, and sees patients in Turkish and English.
