Op. Dr. Ömer Sağır graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in Diyarbakır in 2010. He trained in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at Bezmialem Vakıf University from 2011 to 2014 and completed his residency at Acıbadem University School of Medicine in 2015, with a thesis on the effect of stem cells on tendon healing.
In April 2016 he passed the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) examination. In 2014 he spent time as an observer with Dr. Constantino Mendieta in Miami, focusing on buttock aesthetics, and with Dr. Daniel Becker in New Jersey, focusing on facelift and rhinoplasty. In 2013 he took part in volunteer surgery in Sudan, operating on cleft lip and palate.
He practices in Istanbul and sees patients in Turkish and English. He is a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Turkish Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
