(Chin and neck liposuction) great experience with Abud

I found flymedi while I was looking for a doctor in Istanbul to do a chin and neck liposuction. Abud from Flymedi contacted me and he was great from the beginning until even after I went back home, he took care of everything and was always available, definitely the right person for this experience! My doctor (Dr Ozge Ergun) was also great, I'm very satisfied and I can only recommend Flymedi, the best place to find your treatment!

5* service

From start to finish my experience with Flymedi was exceptional. The coordinator, Abud worked hard at finding the right surgeon for me. He was constantly in contact while I was away to ensure everything went smoothly. I honestly could not be happier with the company. Dr Ozge has done an exceptional job too. Thank you Abud for making me feel confident again!

Great Service

After a long research for hair transplant, I came across Flymedi. I had several reasons to get this service from them such as getting rid of the bureaucratic process, handling accommodation issues, personal assistant, etc. I felt comfortable once it is done by Flymedi as full of customer-oriented style, I was just worried about the surgery which went well too! Thank you Flymedi team. Make sure that I will be letting people know your passion for helping patients who admit to have surgery done in Poland.

Overview

MIS Dental Implants are a very popular dental restoration procedure used in clinics all around the world for patients who want to restore the functionality of their teeth and regain their natural smile after a tooth extraction. MIS dental implants can support orthodontic anchors, prosthesis, bridges or crowns, providing greater stability than traditional solutions.

Preparation

Prior to a MIS dental implant treatment, patients should consider a general check-up because the health condition is very important in the healing process and success of a dental implant. It is also recommended to review your dental and health records with your dentist and inform him/her about any medication you are currently taking. If you have any questions about the procedure or you need to clarify your expectations don’t hesitate to ask. The doctor will provide you with all the necessary information. Additional tests like x-rays or other procedures may be requested before the operation.

How It Is Performed

The MIS dental implant procedure begins with first sedating the patient. Once the patient is sedated, the dentist will create an incision in the gums in order to reach the patient’s jaw bone. With the jaw bone exposed, the dentist will now begin using a small drill to make a hole in the bone, progressively widening it until the implant is barely able to fit. The dentist will use a special additive on the implant itself before placing it inside the jaw bone. This special additive helps with securing the implant in place and speeds up the healing period by stimulating bone growth around it. With the implant placed, the dentist will close up the initial incision with sutures.

In the next few months, the implant’s material will start fusing with the patient’s natural bone – this process is called osseointegration. Osseointegration can last between 3 to 6 months, depending on the patient. In some cases, patients may be required to wear temporary crowns during the recovery period. Temporary crowns can be replaced with more permanent solutions once the recovery period is fully ended.

Recovery

The average MIS dental implant recovery period can last up to six months, depending on the patient’s state of health. Patients are required to maintain good oral hygiene and visit the dentist periodically during this period. Caring for a dental implant is similar to caring for your own natural teeth, with brushing and flossing being the norm. Patients are required to abstain from smoking during the recovery period and to rest for the first few days after the procedure is performed. Hard sports are also prohibited during the recovery period.

Risks

The risks and complications associated with MIS dental implants procedure are:

  • Infection
    Nerve damage
    Implant failure
    Pain
    Sinus problems
    Implant rejection
    Loosening implant posts

These risks can be reduced by rigorously following the dentist’s instructions for the pre-op period.

Side Effects

Even though dental implants are highly successful procedures, some temporary side effects may occur:

  • Pain
    Discomfort
    Inflammation
    Bleeding
    Allergies to the implant’s material

Success Rates

MIS Dental implants reviews set the satisfaction rate at around 98%, one year after the procedure was performed.

Before And After

A MIS dental implant treatment can be very an expensive procedure. Patients should inform themselves properly about the total cost of the operation, taking in consideration also other possible expenses like temporary placements or additional tests.
With a proper oral care and with the help of your specialist, dental implants can last for a very long period of time.

The benefits of a MIS dental implant treatment are:

  • High-end technology
    Natural appearance
    Durability
    Comfortability
Protects and supports the surrounding teeth
Protects and stimulates a healthy jaw bone structure
    Oral health
    Increased self-confidence

Faq

How long will my dental implant hurt?

Patients will feel mild pain and discomfort for a few days after the MIS dental implant procedure, which can be easily managed by painkillers.

Will my dental implants fail if I smoke?

MIS dental implant reviews show that there is a higher chance of failing if the patient is a smoker. Smoking prohibits the process called osseointegration – the fusing of the implant to the patient’s bone.

Will my dental implants look natural?

MIS dental implants can be combined with crowns or bridges made from different materials. Dental crowns for example can perfectly mimic the patient’s natural teeth colour, translucency and look.
