My experience was great!

I was worried that I would have my surgery in a foreign country alone, but Luna Clinic made me feel right at home. They attended to my every need right away, and I didn’t feel alone even for one second. Thanks for everything. My experience was great!

Excellent Service from Abud of Flymedi

Abud was excellent in arranging my visit to Istanbul for both Eyelid and Hair Treatment. I decided to combine both treatments at Estecenter due to the clinics reputation. recommendations and also Abud's guidance. Abud clearly communicated the types of treatments available , estimated costs , all treatment schedules , travel logistics , hotel arrangements and daily transportation to and from clinic. Through responses coordinated between Abud and Estecenter he answered all my questions beforehand and was concise in the cost of treatments being communicated by Estecenter . Truly excellent service and i highly recommend you engage Abud as this leaves you know worries in relaxing during and after your very important treatments that you waited so long to have done Also i decided to stay and additional 7 days , at my own cost in Istanbul, to help my recovery.

Life changing !

I had a massive operation with a full body lift that actually required 2 separate visits to Turkey which was very daunting for me to commit to but I’m so happy I did. I’ve never felt comfortable in my own skin and really struggled with my body especially after having 2 kids. It was really nice to do something for myself and Luna clinic made the experience hassle free for me. They were there for me from beginning to end through both visits and it couldn’t have gone better for me. Thank you so much for the life changing operation and experience.

Overview

Biomet Dental Implant is a type of dental implant brand that is a pioneer in the realm of biologically driven implants. It is popular for its micro-textured OsseoTite surface implants and nano-scaled, bone-bonding NanoTite surface implants.

Biomet has several dental implant system products that your specialist may use according to your conditions. They are:

  • T3® Implants
  • T3® Short Implants
  • OSSEOTITE® Implants
  • Trabecular Metal™ Dental Implants
  • 3.1mmD Eztetic™ Implants
  • Tapered Screw-Vent® Implants
  • The LOCATOR® Overdenture Implants System
  • Spline® Implants

Preparation

A careful and in-depth assessment of the patient’s general health, medical history and oral hygiene should be done. Tobacco usage, masticatory function and alcohol usage should be taken into consideration. Also, your specialist will decide if your anatomical basis is suitable to undertake implant placement and make an extensive intraoral examination. For the planning of your treatment, you will get CT Scans and Radiographic Transparencies.

How It Is Performed

At first, a local anesthetic is administered. Once an incision is made to expose bone at the operation area, a precision drill is utilized in order to make a tiny hole. The Biomet Dental implant is then applied or screwed into the area. There are some cases that not require an initial incision so the implant can be put straight through soft tissue. For patients whose treatment plan includes two-step implant care, the second phase is accomplished after the implant has been integrated into and stabilized by the jawbone. In the second visit, one more local anesthetic will be administered so as to access the implant post and attach the abutment to the implant.

Recovery

The recovery period of Biomet dental implant changes relying on the bone quality at the implantation area, the response of the tissue to the implanted device and the specialist’s evaluation of the patient’s bone density during the surgery.

Risks

Complications that may occur in Biomet dental implants are:

  • Excessive bone loss or breakage of the dental implant due to excessive loading of implants more than its functional capacity
  • Aspiration and swallowing due to mismanagement of small parts inside the patient’s mouth
  • Damage to the implant, Driver and Osteotomy due to pushing the implant into the osteotomy deeper than the depth made by the drills

Side Effects

Following are the potential side effects that can be seen in Biomet Dental Implant:

  • Failure to integrate or Loss of integration
  • Dehiscence needing bone grafting
  • Perforation of the maxillary sinus
  • Inferior border
  • Lingual plate or Labial plate

Faq

- How is the comparison of Biomet dental implant with alternative implant systems?
According to studies that compare the most known implant systems, there is no significant difference in survival rates among all. On the other hand, less popular or newer systems have few studies and not much clinical experience. Therefore, sufficient comparison cannot be made.
