Lipo 360 in Turkey

Lipo 360 is liposuction of the whole circumference of the trunk in one operation: abdomen, waist, flanks and lower back, treated as a single shape rather than as separate spots.

It is still liposuction. It removes fat, not skin, and it is not a weight-loss operation. What makes it different from a smaller case is volume, and volume is what carries the risk. This page covers who it suits, why the amount removed matters, and what it costs in Turkey.

What Lipo 360 treats

Treating the trunk all the way round is the point. Removing fat only from the front leaves the flanks and back untouched, and the result can look odd in profile. Working circumferentially is what produces a waist rather than a flatter front.

  • It removes fat, not skin

If your skin has lost elasticity, taking fat from underneath reveals the looseness rather than tightening it. Skin excision is a different operation.
  • It is not a weight-loss procedure

The change is in shape. Someone well above a healthy weight is usually advised to lose weight first, for both the result and the safety of the operation.
  • Volume is the safety issue

Large-volume liposuction shifts fluid, can cause significant blood loss and needs proper monitoring. The amount removed in a single session should be a considered limit, not a selling point.
  • It is often sold with a fat transfer

Fat removed is frequently offered for transfer to the buttocks. That combination changes the risk profile substantially and deserves its own conversation.

If it is combined with a fat transfer, read this first

Lipo 360 is commonly packaged with a Brazilian butt lift, because the fat has to go somewhere. That combination is not a bigger version of the same operation. Fat injected into the buttock has to stay above the muscle: injection into or beneath the gluteal muscle can enter a large vein and cause a fatal fat embolism, which is why this procedure has drawn more safety attention than any other cosmetic operation. If a fat transfer is part of your quote, ask the surgeon directly where the fat is placed and whether ultrasound guidance is used. The skinny BBL page covers the transfer side in more detail.

Who it suits

  • Close to a stable weight. Liposuction shapes what is there. Losing weight afterwards changes the result, so surgeons prefer you to be settled first.
  • Good skin elasticity. Skin that retracts gives a smooth result. Skin that does not needs excision surgery instead or as well.
  • Localised fat rather than deep abdominal fat. Fat inside the abdomen, around the organs, cannot be suctioned. A firm, protruding abdomen is often that, and liposuction will not change it.
  • Not after recent childbirth or with separated muscles. Separation of the abdominal muscles needs surgical repair, not liposuction.

Where loose skin is the main issue, the tummy tuck and body lift pages describe the operations that remove it. Where a previous liposuction left dents or irregularity, that is covered on the revision liposuction page.

What the operation involves

  1. Assessment and marking

You are marked standing, all the way round. The plan should name the areas and set an intended volume rather than promising to remove as much as possible.
  2. General anaesthetic

Circumferential work means being turned during surgery, so this is a general anaesthetic operation in a hospital, not a clinic-room procedure.
  3. Tumescent infiltration

Dilute anaesthetic fluid is infiltrated first to reduce bleeding and make the fat easier to remove evenly.
  4. Suction, front and back

Small entry points, then the fat is removed in layers. Being turned allows the back and flanks to be treated properly.
  5. Compression and monitoring

A garment goes on immediately. Overnight observation is usual after larger volumes and is a safety measure worth paying for.

Recovery

  • The first days. Considerable swelling and bruising, fluid leaking from the entry points, and compression worn continuously. Walking starts the same day to reduce clot risk.
  • The first weeks. Bruising fades, hardness and numbness persist. Lymphatic drainage massage is commonly recommended and does help with firmness.
  • Months for the shape. Swelling settles slowly and the contour keeps changing. Judging the result at a few weeks means judging swelling.
  • Sleeping and sitting. If a fat transfer was done at the same time, sitting is restricted and that restriction dominates the recovery.

What drives the price in Turkey

  • How many areas and how much volume. The main factor, and the one to have written down.
  • Whether a fat transfer is included. It adds theatre time, changes the recovery and should be quoted separately so you can see it.
  • The technique. Ultrasound-assisted, power-assisted and laser-assisted systems are priced differently from standard suction.
  • Hospital stay and garments. Overnight monitoring and made-to-measure compression are real costs. Confirm whether they are included.
  • Whether skin surgery follows. If loose skin needs excision afterwards, that is a separate operation with a separate price.

The clinic list on this page shows the current price for each hospital with a label saying what it covers. On staged payment, see the payment plans page.

Choosing a surgeon

  • Ask about volume limits and monitoring. The answer tells you how the clinic thinks about safety.
  • Ask what they do about loose skin. A surgeon who assesses your skin and says you may need excision is being straight with you.
  • If a fat transfer is included, ask where the fat goes. Above the muscle, and whether ultrasound is used. This is not a rude question.
  • Ask to see results at six months. Photographs taken at a few weeks show compression and swelling, not outcome.

I went for 360 Lipo to contour my entire midsection, and wow! The results are incredible. The surgeon sculpted my abdomen and flanks with such precision. The facility is state-of-the-art and the nurses were attentive and kind throughout my recovery. The whole trip was worth every penny. 👍

Frequently asked questions

Answers from the medical content team, reviewed by the medical reviewer named on this page.

How much does Lipo 360 cost in Turkey?
It depends on how many areas are treated, the volume removed, the technique and whether a fat transfer is included. The clinic list on this page shows the current price for each hospital with a note of what it covers.
What areas does Lipo 360 cover?
The full circumference of the trunk: abdomen, waist, flanks and lower back, treated in one operation so the shape is consistent all the way round.
Is Lipo 360 a weight-loss operation?
No. It changes shape rather than weight, and surgeons generally prefer you to be at a stable weight beforehand, for the result and for safety.
Will it tighten loose skin?
No. Liposuction removes fat. If the skin has lost elasticity, removing fat underneath makes the looseness more visible, and skin excision is the operation for that.
Is it safe to combine it with a fat transfer to the buttocks?
It is commonly done, but the combination carries a recognised risk of fat embolism if fat is placed into or beneath the gluteal muscle. Ask where the fat is placed and whether ultrasound guidance is used.
Will I need to stay in hospital?
Overnight observation is usual after larger volumes. Treat it as a safety measure rather than an optional extra.
When will I see the final shape?
Swelling settles over months and the contour keeps changing during that time, so the result should be judged well after the first few weeks.
How long do I need to stay in Turkey?
It depends on the volume treated and whether a fat transfer was done. Confirm the schedule with the clinic before booking flights and keep the return changeable.
