The Benefit Of Vaser Liposuction Abroad

Losing stubborn fat is challenging; no amount of exercise or diet change will bring satisfactory results unless you dedicate time and extreme effort. But even with a consistent diet plan and exercise, you may not achieve the desired results. Vaser liposuction abroad is a cost-effective solution to remove stubborn fat permanently.

The procedure targets many areas in the body and will improve your body contour. The procedure isn't limited to female patients; men suffering from unwanted fat deposits are ideal candidates for the procedure.

There are many benefits of having Vaser Liposuction abroad:

You can access more treatment options.

Traveling abroad to remove unwanted fat will open other possibilities or introduce a better, more effective treatment.

Highly skilled and experienced surgeons

The surgeons are highly experienced with years of practice. Their clinics are accredited by renowned institutions like Joint Commission International JCI or International Organization for Standardization ISO.

Treatment that's worth your money

Finding a specialist abroad will be more cost-effective than visiting an amateur doctor in your local country.

You get access to superior patient care services.

Most doctors usually see their patients once a month. So, an average doctor spends fewer than seven minutes with a patient. Ultimately, this means that patients don't experience good patient care services from their doctors.

On the other hand, you can expect to be treated with care and respect when you go for Vaser liposuction surgery abroad.

Tips For Choosing The Best Fat Removal Surgery Clinic Abroad

  • Prioritize the treatment you need: understand the type of treatment you need. Visit your local doctor and understand what treatment best suits your case.
  • Create a shortlist of possible clinics abroad:  research the clinic you plan to visit overseas. Most reputable clinics will have an official website, and you can examine the surgeon's expertise, reviews, and credentials.
  • Check the local regulation: Knowing how the treatment is regulated in your chosen country is essential. It will help you identify reputable clinics registered with the governing body or national association. It will also tell you about your rights.
  • Prepare a list of questions for your doctor: prepare a list of questions to ensure you receive quality treatment. Common questions to ask - do they provide a translator? Do they have patients' testimonials? Is the clinic registered with the national association?
  • Trust your instincts: This personal element should not be underestimated; the treatment can be traumatic for many people, mainly when undertaken in a foreign country and in unfamiliar surroundings. You should trust your instincts as much as the raw data. If a clinic feels wrong, then walk away.
  • Have a clear expectation of the results: understand the necessary procedure plan.

Ideal Candidate for Vaser Lipo Abroad

You're an ideal candidate if you want to remove stubborn fat; you're within your ideal body weight, have firm and elastic skin, and are a non-smoker.

If you do want to remove stubborn fat with liposuction surgery and avoid extensive scars and a long recovery period at the same time, Vaser Lipo seems like a good solution for you.

How long should you stay in the hospital after the surgery?

You may spend one night in the hospital after the procedure to monitor your status.

How long is the surgery?

The procedure normally takes 1 to 4 hours.

How many days should I travel/stay abroad to do Vaser Liposuction?

You will need to stay a minimum of 3 days abroad in your chosen destination.

How to prepare for Vaser Liposuction?

As in the case of other cosmetic surgeries, you need to inform your doctor about all your medical conditions and the medicines you take first. It is important as well to stop taking blood thinners such as aspirin a few days before your Vaser Lipo.

Finally, smoking is recommended neither before nor after your fat removal surgery, in order to guarantee a successful liposuction recovery.

How is Vaser Lipo different from other liposuction procedures?

The key difference between Vaser Lipo and other types of liposuction is the use of ultrasound, hence the other name – ultrasonic liposuction. In the beginning, saline mixed with anesthetics is injected into the treated area. Then, a Vaser is inserted through a small incision and liquefies fat tissue with ultrasound.

Finally, liquid fat is removed through a small tube. This fat may be also of use in other cosmetic surgeries such as fat transfer or breast augmentation.

Vaser Liposuction Complications

Potential risks and complications related to Vaser Lipo are not that different from other types of liposuction. In very rare cases an infection or even necrosis may develop, but these can be dealt with by a specialist who conducted your liposuction.

Additionally, there is a small risk of excessive bleeding, swelling, and bruising – if you spot these signs you should contact your doctor as well.

Typical Vaser liposuction side, effects belong swelling and mild bruising – these will pass with time and should not be a matter of your concern as long as they do not take excessive size.

Vaser Liposuction Success Rate

Vaser Lipo is thought to have a higher success rate than normal liposuction. This is due to smaller incisions and shorter time of liposuction surgery – the potential for complications like infection or necrosis is significantly decreased. A 2007 survey on VASER liposuction sets the patient satisfaction rate at around 84%.

Within weeks after your Vaser Lipo, you should be able to spot a positive change in your body. A new, smoother abdomen or another body part should better represent how you really feel. The final results, however, as in the case of other types of liposuction, are to be expected within months, not weeks after your ultrasonic liposuction.

Types of Liposuction

Traditional Liposuction VS. VASER Liposuction

VASER liposuction is a relatively new liposuction technique used for body reshaping and fat reduction. While traditional liposuction techniques and newer procedures generally follow the same idea - to reduce fatty tissue from different areas of the body, the methods used and results can vary to some degree.

Traditional Liposuction

Traditional liposuction is a type of plastic surgery that removes excess fatty tissues through suction with the help of a cannula – a hollow tube. The patient is put under general anesthesia and several small incisions are made in the area with excess fat.

Saline solution is injected into the incisions in order to further break up the fatty tissue. The cannula is then inserted through the incisions, extracting fat cells permanently. Traditional liposuction can be broken down further into two main techniques: Power-assisted liposuction PAL and suction-assisted liposuction SAL.

Both of these techniques use incisions as the main entry point for the cannula but PAL uses a vibrating cannula while with SAL the surgeon will have to manually break fat deposits from the target area.

VASER Liposuction

VASER Liposuction is a minimally invasive type of plastic surgery that can be performed under local anesthesia, depending on the targeted area. The fatty deposits within the targeted area are liquefied with the help of ultrasound waves, without damaging surrounding tissues such as blood vessels or muscle tissue.

The fat is then safely extracted through aspiration with the help of the cannula. The removal of fatty tissue from any area of the body will stimulate the production of collagen, resulting in much tighter and smoother skin for the patient once the procedure is done.

VASER Liposuction Benefits

VASER offers a few notable benefits compared to other techniques:

  • Shorter Recovery Period – VASER liposuction requires a much shorter recovery time since it’s a minimally invasive procedure, as opposed to traditional liposuction which requires a longer recovery period due to larger incisions and potential injuries done under the skin during the process.
  • Pain-Free Procedure – VASER liposuction is very comfortable for the patient as well as practically pain-free, as opposed to traditional liposuction which requires forceful thrusts with the cannula under the patient’s skin.
  • Local Anaesthesia – VASER offers doctors the option of administering only local anesthesia while most traditional liposuction procedures are performed under general anesthesia.
  • Better Looking Skin – This type of liposuction will greatly improve your skin’s elasticity allowing the body to adapt to its new shape with ease, while traditional liposuction can leave irregular lumps of fatty tissue or even blood clots under the skin.
  • No Scarring – Vaser lipo does not leave any scars or sutures from the incision, while traditional liposuction incisions are larger and require sutures to properly close.
  • No Further Surgery Required – Traditional liposuction may require further procedures such as body contouring or skin tightening in order to achieve the best possible results. These extra procedures can be expensive as well as time-consuming for the patient.
