Details

The penis enlargement surgery, also called penoplasty, is an intervention that allows the penis to lengthen or thicken by a few centimeters. This procedure is performed by a urological surgeon. The incision of the penis is made in contact with the pubic bone, in a part of the anatomy which does not contain vital elements. Penis enlargement is therefore safe and completely painless.

Thanks to the penis enlargement procedure, you can enlarge your penis by 4 cm. The procedure has no impact on the erectile system. No postoperative complications are therefore to be feared. A simple rest is enough in the week following the operation.

How Does it Work?

The penis enlargement is obtained by fat injection, carried out on an outpatient basis - during the day, in the clinic - under local anesthesia. Fat is taken from the stomach or pubic area and purified. The fat cells are reinjected at different points of the penis, using fine cannulas. There is no scar.

As the penis is swollen with edema, the final result is seen after six weeks.

What Does a Penis Enlargement Surgery Involve?

1.       Consultation for Penis Enlargement

You will take an online consultation to make sure that you’re a suitable candidate for the penis enlargement surgery. During this consultation, your complaints will be learned in detail and you will be asked if you have had any current or previous health condition to understand the possibilities of affecting the process. Thus, we can better evaluate your case and prepare a customized treatment plan for you.

In light of all the information you provide, it will be decided whether you are eligible for this treatment and if you want to continue the process, the second phase will begin.

2.       Planning Your Trip and Choosing the Clinic

This is the stage where you choose one of the clinics and surgeons we offer you according to your needs and demands, and also where we arrange the date and trip plan that suits you upon your preferred clinic/surgeon.

3.       Final Consultation with Your Surgeon

When you arrive at the clinic, you will have a face-to-face consultation with your surgeon. Everything about your surgery will be discussed between you and your surgeon during this consultation. The surgeon will ask you some questions to try to understand your expectations and goals better and also make you understand what you should expect from your surgery and the potential risks or complications of the procedure. The discussion between the patient and the surgeon should make it possible to clarify the expectations of the patients and to answer several questions: does the defect of size really exist? What is the impact on the patient's psychology? Can a surgical technique meet the patient's demands? Will the procedure draw an aesthetic and psychological benefit? As well as the two of you agree on these issues, you will also decide together the individualized surgical and recovery plan that can be followed, especially during the first 24 to 48 hours after the surgery. The surgeon will explain the whole process clearly and try to simulate it as much as possible, in order you to feel enlightened and well-prepared.

4.       Medical Examinations

Before the surgery begins, your surgeon will conduct physical and blood tests to make sure that you are in acceptable health status for the surgery. Every patient is required to undergo medical tests to ensure that nothing can hinder the success of the surgery and if any risk obtained, surgeons try to eliminate them first.

5.       Surgery

The penis enlargement surgery will consist of the following steps:

  • Administration of Anesthesia: The type of anesthesia depends on the technique used, on the consultation between the cosmetic surgeon, the anesthesiologist, and the patient. General anesthesia is highly used for penis enlargement but local anesthesia or intravenous sedation can also be proposed
  • Removing the Fat: Preparatory lines for the incisions are made in the operating room, including in the fat donor areas. The first operating stage consists in removing the fat via micro-incisions with a microcannula. The fat is removed from the belly or thigh without causing trauma (the choice of sampling site will depend on the amount of fat required and the patient's morphology). Purification of the removed fat (by centrifugation) will be carried out.
  • Injecting the Fat: The second operating stage consists in injecting the fat from small incisions located at the base of the penis and under the glans. This is done by injecting microparticles of fat between the skin of the penis sheath and the corpora cavernosa. By making injections in different directions, surgeons make sure to obtain a harmonious result. It is customary to carry out an "over-correction", which means to inject more fat than necessary, to compensate for the post-operative fatty melting.
  • Closing the Incision: After the desired improvement is achieved, the surgeon closes the incisions. The sutures are made with absorbable threads. A light dressing can be applied to the penis and the fat collection areas.

What Should I Expect from Penis Enlargement?

  • After the penis enlargement, the penis becomes very swollen in the days following the operation. The glans cannot be uncapped.
  • The edema will gradually disappear.
  • The areas where the fat was removed may also show some bruising that will disappear in 7-10 days.
  • Taking a shower is possible the day after the procedure.
  • Wearing loose underwear (underpants) is recommended for 4 to 6 weeks, to avoid compression of the operated area.
  • Patients are expected to take 2-3 days off from work.
  • Sexual activities can resume after 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Sportive activities will have to wait 1 to 2 months.

Things You Should Consider Before Penis Enlargement Surgery

  • It is recommended to quit smoking at least one month before and after surgery so as not to impair healing;
  • Taking aspirin is prohibited during the 10 days preceding the operation;
  • Treatment to temporarily suppress all erections is prescribed. It must be started the day before the operation so as not to disturb the healing;
  • It is recommended not to eat or drink anything 6 hours before the operation.
  •  Possibly for patients sensitive to genital herpes, preventive treatment may be prescribed.
  • The pubic shaving will be done in case of penis lengthening, not necessarily in case of enlargement.

FAQ

Is Penis Enlargement Procedure Painful?

Postoperative pain or soreness can be experienced. When this happens, your surgeon will prescribe painkillers to relieve this pain and discomfort.

Does Penis Enlargement Leave a Scar?

To avoid causing an external scar, the surgeon often makes an incision in the suspensory ligament of the penis and it is hidden under the pubic hair.

Can I Have A Second Surgery If I Am Not Satisfied With The Result?

The defects of the results can sometimes be observed: insufficient localized correction, mild asymmetry, irregularities, etc. Small "touch-ups" of the lipo structure may be required under simple local anesthesia, which is possible 6 months after the operation.
