How Does It Work?

The surgeon uses a laser to liquefy the unwanted excess fat under the skin. The fat is then removed using a very thin cannula. The Slim Lipo procedure requires only a few small incisions which become invisible over time. It is a revolutionary body-sculpting system that aims to reshape specific areas of the body by targeting and liquefying fat cells with minimal recovery time.

What Does Slim Lipo Treatment Involve?

1. Consultation for Slim Lipo

After we receive your information request, the first step will be the online consultation. During this consultation, our specialist will ask you some questions to define your problems well and try to learn your complaint first. The target of this stage is to make sure whether you are a suitable candidate for slim lipo or not.

Your current health status, allergies, regular or current medications, previous surgeries, if any, and your expectations for the treatment are the most important data to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for you at this stage.

2. Planning Your Trip and Choosing the Clinic

After your candidacy is accepted, we will start to make the best treatment plan for you. We will prepare a list of the clinics and surgeons meeting your criteria and share it with you. After you select one of them, we will proceed to the stage of date determination and detailed adjustments.

3. Final Consultation With Your Surgeon

When you arrive at the clinic, you will have a face-to-face consultation with the surgeon who will perform your surgery. He or she will ask you some questions to try to understand your expectations and also make you understand what you should expect from your Slim Lipo treatment.

4. Medical Examinations

Before the Slim Lipo procedure begins, your surgeon will conduct some necessary medical tests to make sure that you are in acceptable health status for the procedure. Every patient is required to undergo medical tests to ensure that nothing will hinder the success of the procedure and if any risk is observed, surgeons try to eliminate them first.

5. Surgery

In the Slim Lipo procedure, the surgeon begins to move the device in the area to be treated by selecting the appropriate wavelength for areas with excess fat or loose skin. The heated fat cells begin to break down and melt. Laser energy liquefies these fat cells and makes them ready to be removed.

Then the surgeon removes this fat with the help of a small incision. Incisions are not required suturing. The surgeon can use this technology to deliver short pulses of low energy or long pulses of higher energy, either may be necessary depending on the patient and the part of the body to be treated.

Surgeons need the right wavelength and power to successfully melt and dissolve fat while protecting tissue and other anatomical structures. Slim Lipo allows your cosmetic surgeon to do a better job and gives you a better figure.

Like other laser lipolysis treatments, Slim Lipo is considered a no-hospital stay procedure and is often performed in a medical office under local anesthesia. The procedure usually lasts between 30 and 60 minutes per part of the body to be treated. The incision and treatment are usually minimal and the recovery time is short.

Things You Should Consider After Slim Lipo Treatment

• Postoperative discomfort is minimal and disappears after 2-3 days.

•  The compressive garment is necessary for 2 weeks or the time your surgeon advises. It can be removed while sleeping within 4-7 days of the procedure instead of having to wear it permanently for a month. Besides, it can be taken off while having a shower as well.

Will I Have Scars After the Slim Lipo?

Slim Lipo causes a scar but much smaller than the scar formed after traditional liposuction. Because the Slim Lipo procedure requires very tiny incisions, surgeons do not use sutures, therefore they are recovered in a short time.

What Is the Main Difference Slim Lipo vs. Smart Lipo?

The main difference between these two laser-assisted liposuction procedures is the device used in the procedure and the wavelength that these devices produce. Slim Lipo is a newer technology and has a smaller device to designate and produce two dedicated wavelengths; 924nm for fat cells and 975nm for skin tissue.
