Angela went above and beyond my expectations. She is very friendly and you can always feel at ease contacting her. She made sure I was comfortable with our choice of surgeon Dr. Can Karaca and set up a video call for me. Always ready to help and answer any questions (she would always be available despite the 7 hour time difference)! I wasn’t really sure about traveling to Istanbul, Turkey for my procedure until I met Angela and she explained everything from start to finish and stood behind her words to always be of assistance. Mind you I have been researching for months now for a good doctor and went back and forth between waiting 2 years to get my surgery done in Canada or even traveling to Mexico for it! I was thinking Turkey would be a difficult route due to time difference and the distance but I’m very happy I chose to go to Turkey with Flymedi and I’m glad my agent was Angela Sabou! Do not hesitate to work with Flymedi and especially request Angela if you can!!! - a very satisfied client

Adonis Fertility International Caring Professionals

After trying IVF unsuccessfully in the US for many years Maria from Adonis Fertility International gave me hope. I was very impressed by her work ethic and I trusted she would work hard at helping us become parents. Her communication was top-notch. I choose Adonis because of Maria and then worked with Amy, Nancy, and Ivanna and ALL were Amazing. Everything is broken down for you in steps and very organized. There was always someone there to answer a question you may. Its been a very smooth process, with all the legal documents and made transporting the biomaterial stress-free. We are still in our beginning stages and I will give another review at the end but everything so far has been excellent and I would recommend Adonis to any US couple looking to try IVF and hopefully become parents.

Excellent service

Excellent service. I was really hesitant at first, because I’ve never done anything like this before, but Kirstie did a great job of answering all my questions & concerns, in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using this service.

At the beginning, I was very hesitant about having my surgeries, especially the idea of having them in Turkey, which is a country located across the ocean of where I come from, the United States of America. When I initially started my research, I came across Flymedi, and I strongly believe that connecting with them was the best decision I have made in regards of having my desired surgeries. After entering my contact information, I was contacted from Flymedi by an agent named Abud. On one hand, Abud has been a great assist and support to my journey, as he was involved in every step throughout the process. He was very responsive to all my concerns and inquiries before and after the operations. On the other hand, everyone at the clinic that I was referred to (EstEthica) was very nice and welcoming. The in-person consultant on site (Lamia) was extremely helpful and kind. She, along with the whole clinic staff, made me feel so comfortable and made the whole trip seem as smooth as possible, despite the discomfort after the surgeries. In terms of the results, I can not speak of this just yet as it has only been a week since I have had my operations. However, I will definitely come back within a couple of months to update my review and speak about the results and any other additional notes along the way. In a nutshell, all I can say that I am grateful for everything so far, and I truly appreciate everyone that was involved in this process! P.S. as a word of advice, if you are having a hair transplant operation, I highly recommend having it at least 3 - 4 days before your departure flight back home, as the post operation instructions are a bit intense and not being in a rush would significantly help with the recovery process.

Great experience using Flymedi to find the perfect surgeon and operation for me. Abud answered all my questions and helped so much!

Recommended For Cervical Conization

Female patients whose PAP test indicated that there are changes in the patient’s cervix, and if these changes could not be detected in colposcopy, these patients can be the candidates for cervical conization. Colposcopy is also a gynecological technique performed for searching the abnormal cervical cells (cervical dysplasia). While performing colposcopy, surgeons use a colposcope, which is a medical tool with a magnifying glass. With the use of colposcope, doctors are able to see the cervix. When this method is not effective enough, doctors choose to perform cervical conization so as to identify cancer cells.

Not Recommended For Cervical Conization

If the growth of cervical cancer was indicated by colposcopy, there is no need for to be cervical conization performed. However, some doctors may want to perform cervical conization as well so as to find out about the type of cervical cancer.Additionally, pregnant women are discouraged from having cervical conization.

Overview

Cervical conization is a crucial technique for the prevention of cervical cancer. By performing cervical conization, gynecologists are able to discover the cervical cancer symptoms and the changes which occur before cancer in patient’s cervix. During the cervical conization operation, surgeons remove a small cone-shaped piece from the cervix so as to search for possible cancerous changes. Cervical conization is also called cone biopsy, and it has a crucial role in screening cervical cancer. Also, cervical conization can be used for cervical cancer in cases of abnormal cervical cells, which could not progress into cervical cancer. If the edges of cone biopsy do not contain cancer cells, it is assumed that all abnormal cervical cells were removed with cervical conization procedure.

Preparation

There is no need for a specific preparation before the cervical conization since the procedure is performed with local anesthesia

How It Is Performed

For the operation of cervical conization, surgeons may use some of these medical tools:

• Scalpel
• CO2 laser
• LEEP (or loop electrosurgical excision procedure).

Cervical conization operation is performed with local anesthesia since the use of these tools may cause pain and discomfort.

Recovery

Cervical conization operation does not require a very long recovery period. After resting a couple of days, patients can go back to work. Cervical conization operation is a minimally invasive procedure; therefore, it does not cause major harm to the cervix or other organs. To some extent, patients may experience bleeding, which would last for a few days, but you should contact your doctor if you experience excessive bleeding.Women are advised to use pads instead of tampons and refrain from douching for the period of few weeks after cervical conization.

Risks

Even though cervical conization is a minimally invasive and outpatient operation, still there are some risks and complications involved. These are excessive bleeding, cervical stenosis (narrowing) and cervical incompetence, when the cervix is not able to stay closed during pregnancy, requiring a cervical cerclage.

Side Effects

A side effect of cervical conization includes limited bleeding and vaginal discharge. Yet, these effects would last for a week after the operation.
