The first time I had some doubts about the intervențion , Due to the fact that the hair regenerates periodic, what I can say is that the result of a hair transplant is 100% successful. This revival comes after a period of 9 months waiting to see the result of the intervention. I recommend Flymedi and of course I recommend the person who was near me during the intervention Mr Mustafa. Mr. Mustafa is a person I rarely met. I can say that everything related to professionalism is on his side. I recommend to all those who want to have professional interventions, to have the highest confidence in Flymedi. Thank you Flymedi !

I came across FlyMedi online while looking for medical tourism options for septorhinoplasty in Turkey. I was contacted by FlyMedi's Nadia via email within hours of submitting for more information on their website. Nadia made herself available 24/7 via email and WhatsApp, even as I traveled across multiple time zones. Nadia provided multiple options in multiple locations with pros and cons and for each and stayed in touch throughout the process. I already recommended FlyMedi and specifically Nadia to friends and family considering Turkey for any medical tourism they may be considering. Thank you Nadia!

I'd been researching the procedure for a while and the cost in Australia was significantly higher than in Turkey. I came across the Flymedi website and within hours of submitting an enquiry, Nadia had reached out. She provided multiple quotes with different options, background on the doctors and hospitals. Nadia was available 24/7 and really helped me through everything from start to finish. Great business idea, exceptional staff and great customer service

Overview

Glioma tumor (glial tumor) is a broad category of several kinds of brain cancer and tumors with the most common ones being astrocytoma and oligodendroglioma.Glioma treatment is a complicated one and may never lead to total removal of cancer cells, especially if treatment of cancer begins in its 3rd or 4th stage. In a circumstance like this, with glioma treatments, it is intended to improve the patient's living standardsand prolonging this life through removing at least parts of cancer cells and stopping or slowing down the speed with which remaining glioma develops.

Preparation

Generally, glioma treatment involves the procedures of brain cancer operations, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy; therefore, there are some preparations you should consider. Before the brain tumor operation, you should inform our doctor about the medical conditions you have and the medications you have been taking. One week before brain surgery, you should stop taking any kind of blood-thinning medications such as aspirin. For the treatments of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, there is no need for a specific preparation to make. However, it is better to consult your specialist before glial tumor treatment begins.

How It Is Performed

Glial tumor treatment includes several treatment procedures, which are brain tumor surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Yet, there might be some conditions in which one of the procedures is not performed. There may be two different objectives for glioma treatment:

• At the early stages of glioma, glial tumor treatment’s main goal is to eliminate it totally.
• At the late stages of glioma generally, it is not possible to deem total extinction of tumor cells. Therefore, treatment mainly focuses on managing it on a low level. Glioma treatment starts usually with an attempt at glial tumor removal through brain surgery, followed by radiation therapy and chemotherapy treatment. In the cases which brain surgery and radiotherapy treatment’s effects are positive and enduring, there is no need for chemotherapy to be performed.

Recovery

The recovery period of glioma treatment may last for weeks, months, or even years. To be able to suppress glioma tumor cells, some medications are taken by the patient during the time between brain surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. There is a necessity for some of the medications to be used even after all of the three (or two) stages are administrated. Meanwhile, glioma treatment’s side effects would disappear. This period may last for a few months, which is around 3-6 months, but in the case of stage 3 glioma or stage 4 glioma, proper recovery may not happen.

Risks

Glioma treatment has several risks and complications; some of them are:

• Seizures
• Internal or external bleeding
• Neurological problems
• Sometimes chemotherapy and radiotherapy may lead to infertility

Yet, mentioned risks do not shade the potential benefits of intensive glioma treatment

Side Effects

Glioma treatment side effects are in interaction with another kind of treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy with addition to medications given to the patient so as to suppress glioma. Some of the side effects are double vision, problems with balance, problems with concentration, etc. The patient should reach a specialist if any of the side effects gets serious.

Success Rates

Most of the time, glioma causes a patient's death. In the early stages of glioma, there is a chance for removal of total glial tumors, but the possibility is very low. The success rate of glioma treatment depends on the patient’s life quality and its length.

Before And After

Treatment of glioma might be a tiring process for the patients, but it provides them a long time to spend with their family and more peaceful passing away. Patients who are suffering from early stages of glioma might benefit from the treatment with results like total eradication of cancer for years to come.
