What does a treatment package in Turkey usually include?

Often, yes. Clinics that treat international patients usually have English-speaking staff, and many provide an interpreter as part of the package. Ask which languages your surgeon speaks, and have the interpreter written into your offer if you need one.
Can I bring a companion?
Yes, and many patients travel with a partner, relative or friend who can help during the first days of recovery. Ask whether your offer covers a companion's hotel stay and transfers, or what they add to the price. If your companion needs a visa, check the rules for them too.
Will my insurance cover treatment in Turkey?
Usually not, if the procedure is elective. Look for travel insurance that explicitly covers planned treatment abroad and its complications, and confirm the terms with the insurer before you book. The U.S. Embassy in Türkiye also advises cover for medical evacuation home.
What happens if I have a concern after I get home?
Tell your coordinator, who stays your contact after treatment, raises your concern with the clinic and follows it through with you.
