The first time I had some doubts about the intervențion , Due to the fact that the hair regenerates periodic, what I can say is that the result of a hair transplant is 100% successful. This revival comes after a period of 9 months waiting to see the result of the intervention. I recommend Flymedi and of course I recommend the person who was near me during the intervention Mr Mustafa. Mr. Mustafa is a person I rarely met. I can say that everything related to professionalism is on his side. I recommend to all those who want to have professional interventions, to have the highest confidence in Flymedi. Thank you Flymedi !

I came across FlyMedi online while looking for medical tourism options for septorhinoplasty in Turkey. I was contacted by FlyMedi's Nadia via email within hours of submitting for more information on their website. Nadia made herself available 24/7 via email and WhatsApp, even as I traveled across multiple time zones. Nadia provided multiple options in multiple locations with pros and cons and for each and stayed in touch throughout the process. I already recommended FlyMedi and specifically Nadia to friends and family considering Turkey for any medical tourism they may be considering. Thank you Nadia!

I'd been researching the procedure for a while and the cost in Australia was significantly higher than in Turkey. I came across the Flymedi website and within hours of submitting an enquiry, Nadia had reached out. She provided multiple quotes with different options, background on the doctors and hospitals. Nadia was available 24/7 and really helped me through everything from start to finish. Great business idea, exceptional staff and great customer service

I am really happy that I have planned my operation through Flymedi. Robin took great care of me and was always there for me and made everything possible. I had a breast lift and tummy tuck and had liposuction by Dr. Asli Datli. MedicalPark in Istanbul. she is a super doctor, the results has become very nice and was also there well cared for. Nurse Yeliz is adorable and has always been by my side. She was also always available and answered all my questions. I have felt very well, thanks again to all I am very satisfied.

Recommended For Robotic Prostatectomy

A number of disorders can be solved by robotic prostatectomy. These are related to enlarged urinary tract and urinary tract infection. The most common and serious situation is prostate cancer. Symptoms of prostate cancer are as follows.
• Blood in urine and semen
• Frequent urge to urinate
• Pelvic pain and pain around hips and legs
Patients with these symptoms should immediately consult a specialist doctor and have a clear diagnosis by PSA and biopsy.

Not Recommended For Robotic Prostatectomy

Robotic prostatectomy does not perform for all patients who have prostate problems. First, some prostate problems of low severity can be solved by other methods. Some patients may not notice that they have prostate cancer and may cause this disease to progress; palliative methods are used in such cases. Finally, not all hospitals may have the appropriate equipment and physicians for robotic prostatectomy, so the more traditional open prostatectomy or laparoscopic prostatectomy may be referred.

Overview

Robotic prostatectomy is recently developed kind of prostatectomy procedure, to operate this procedure, a robotic device is used in prostate removal instead of the laparoscope. Robotic-assisted prostatectomy attracts attention all over the world due to its low risk of postoperative complications and less incision.

Robotic prostatectomy can perform a variety of prostatectomy operations much alike open prostatectomy, laparoscopic prostatectomy or transurethral prostatectomy.
• Simple prostatectomy – the inner part of the prostate gland is removed
• Partial prostatectomy – this kindof prostatectomy is used for benign prostate tumors. During it, only part of the prostate is removed
• Radical prostatectomy – doctors aim toremove the whole prostate and surrounding tissues.

Robotic-assisted prostatectomy, which has been developed with years of research, is still a novelty for doctors. For this reason, it is important to choose a doctor who is experienced in robotic prostatectomy. For this reason, most patients prefer the developed health tourism option to the aim of finding the ideal solution.

Preparation

It is very important that you inform your health care team about your health problems. You will also be asked to provide a complete list of medications you are taking and not to use blood thinners such as aspirin. You cannot drink alcohol 48 hours before the operation. You will also be asked not to eat or drink anything from a few hours before the operation, and you will also need to go to mechanical bowel preparation.

How It Is Performed

Robotic prostatectomy is performed with a few small incisions in the abdomen, just like laparoscopic prostatectomy. The doctor operates this operation with a computer and does not touch the operation area it causes to decrease the risk of infection. In the final stage of robotic-assisted prostatectomy, if the whole of the patient's prostate is removed, the doctor attaches bladder to the urethra.

Recovery

The biggest advantage of robotic prostatectomy is a shorter recovery time than open prostatectomy. Most of the patients who choose the best clinics can leave the hospital only a few hours after the operation, and the others will stay for a day in hospital but still less than other kinds of prostatectomy — step by step to daily activities. There will be a urinary catheter for a few days, but it will be removed later. You should avoid strenuous activities to avoid any complications. Your return to your normal sexual life takes place step by step. After robotic prostatectomy, it may be difficult to be erect for 1 week.

Risks

Robotic prostatectomy procedure has some risks, such as:
• Formation of blood clots
• Infections
• Damage to surrounding organs
However, it is much more plausible with small cuts and a low bleeding rate.

Side Effects

Robotic prostatectomy treatment has no side effects. However, in some cases, erectile dysfunction may cause serious distress in the patient. In such cases, you should consult your doctor.

Success Rates

The use of prostatectomy for the treatment of prostate cancer has been successful at a survival rate of 80% over a 10-year rate. The success of robotic prostatectomy in the context of the comfort of sexual life is the same as in other types, and 80% of the patients have no problem in this regard postoperatively.

Faq

What is Robotic Prostatectomy?
Robotic prostatectomy (or robotic-assisted prostatectomy) is the latest generation of prostatectomy surgery. It utilizes advanced device commanded by a doctor through a computer, which precisely removes the prostate or its part through small incisions.

What is the Advantage of Robotic Prostatectomy over Open Prostatectomy or Laparoscopic Prostatectomy?
Robotic prostatectomy is more precise and guarantees less bleeding and complications as well as shorter prostatectomy recovery time.

Why Isn’t the Robotic Prostatectomy more Common in Hospitals?
It is a relatively new technology, requiring expensive equipment and a vastly experienced specialist to operate it. For this reason, it may take years for it to be more common across the world.
